These are the General Terms and Conditions of Stylescout (‘Stylescout.nl’). Registered at the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam under the name Stylescout number 51009072 and VAT number NL 135212431 B02. Stylescout is located at Elandsgracht 91, 1016 TS in Amsterdam. All offers, orders and agreements of Stylescout are subject to these General Terms and Conditions, unless Stylescout agrees in writing to other conditions. Agreed departures from the conditions shall not entitle the customer to any rights in respect of future transactions.

Stylescout is entitled to refuse orders or to attach certain conditions to the delivery, unless specifically determined otherwise. In the event of not accepting an order, Stylescout shall provide notice to that effect within two (2) business days of the order's receipt. The consequences of mistakes and errors made by the buyer shall be borne entirely by the buyer. If you wish to cancel the order, you can send an e-mail message to our Customer Service.

Prices
The listed prices are quoted in local currencies (EUR, GBP) for the products and services and are including local VAT unless otherwise specified, but do not include shipping costs. The total price listed on the order list and on the electronic order form does include shipping costs.

We collaborate with Ice pay, a Dutch company for online payment solutions. All transactions are encrypted and 100% secured. Payment details are sent via an SSL (Secured Sockets Layer) connection, as internationally recommended for sending data securely over the Internet. Stylescout shall not be liable for any misuse of this data by third parties.
Immediately after placing an order, you will receive confirmation by e-mail stating the goods ordered, the delivery details and the total cost. Full payment shall always be made in advance: immediately and online by credit card or by iDEAL.

Delivery
Stylescout will do her very best to deliver the package within the period indicated on the website. We are however dependent on our suppliers in this respect. As a result, all times indicated on the website are indicative only. A delay in delivery does not entitle the customer to compensation of any damages, or annulment of the contract or non-fulfillment of any obligation imposed on her from this or any other related agreement. The product should reach the customer within 30 days after shipping. If this does not happen, the customer can immediately undo the sale. This does not apply when parties have agreed another delivery term.
For national shipment Stylescout ships all orders to the address stated at the time of ordering through our delivery partners TNT Postal Service within 1-2 business days of receiving payment. We ship the order noted and insured. This means that the package is only delivered to you personally (and not at your neighbours’ address). Should you at the time of delivery not be at home, you can pick up your package at a post office near you.

We ship the order noted and insured. The goods cannot be left without a signature and the couriers usually operate between 08.00-18.00 (8am-6pm), business days.

Delivery in consignments is permitted. Stylescout shall endeavor to keep the website as up to date as possible but a product may unfortunately no longer be available for delivery. In that case, Stylescout shall contact you by e-mail as soon as possible.

Returns Policy
Please note that in order to have a refund or an exchange, the item(s) must be unworn, in prefect condition and have all their labels attached. Authenticity cards, dust bags and leather tags (where provided) must be included in your return.
Returns that are damaged, soiled or returned without all their labels may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.
Footwear will only be accepted back if returned in it’s original and undamaged box as this is considered part of the product.
Swimming costumes and bikini bottoms should be tried over underwear. Returns may not be accepted if the hygiene strip has been removed.
All items must be returned within 14 days from date of purchase in order to receive the refund or exchange. Please note that late returns (after 14 days from date of purchase) will not be accepted.
The costs of return shipping are for the client’s account. Please note that the item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. We may not accept liability for goods that are not returned via our delivery service.

We do our best to deliver a perfect product. Any complaints regarding the state in which goods have been delivered (including missing tags) must be made to Stylescout no later than two (2) business days upon receipt of the goods by e-mail. We strongly advise all customers to check garments thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging. If your item is faulty on receipt, please contact us within two (2) business days of delivery to arrange for an exchange or refund.
Please note that we are only able to offer size exchanges for free. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative style, we suggest that you return it and purchase the new item separately.
If the returned goods comply with our Returns Policy we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that order as soon as possible and in any case within ten (10) business days after we receive your returned products. Our Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights. Refunds will be done via credit card or directly to your bank account depending on the way you paid originally. In both cases after retention of the charged original shipping costs.
Gift card: If you paid with a gift card, you will receive a gift card in return for the amount of the refund.
Complaints Policy
We welcome any remarks about our service, so that we can improve what we are doing. If you have reason to complain about our service, please email to our Customer Service stating clearly that you are making a complaint. Our aim is either giving responds to your complaint within a few working days or where necessary resolving the problem.
Colors
Photographs and colors in the website may differ from the items’ actual colors. This depends partly on the color settings of your computer and monitor.
Liability
Liability of Stylescout, its employees and the products of Stylescout for all damages of any kind, directly or indirectly, including loss of profits, consequential damage to movable or immovable property or to any person, is specifically excluded. Stylescout cannot be held liable for damage caused by the implementation of the agreement by third parties. Stylescout accepts no liability for any damage arising from the use of Stylescout’s products. Stylescout’s liability towards the purchaser shall be limited to the amount of the invoice that the purchaser under the agreement relating to Stylescout is due. Unless there might be proof of intent or gross negligence of Stylescout, Stylescout isn’t liable for misunderstandings, mutilations, delays or not properly conveyed orders and notices as a result of the use of the Internet or any other means of communication in the communication between client and Stylescout, or between Stylescout and third parties, as it relates to the relationship between you and Stylescout.
Force Majeure
In cases of Force Majeure, Stylescout shall be entitled, at its opinion, to defer the execution of your order or terminate the agreement without judicial intervention, by notifying you in writing to that effect and without Stylescout being obliged to any compensation, unless this would be unacceptable in the given circumstances, according to the criteria of reasonableness and fairness. Force majeure means any shortcoming that cannot be attributed to Stylescout because it cannot be blamed and is not accountable pursuant to law, juristic acts, or common opinion. Under such circumstances, Stylescout will do everything to solve the matter for the customer as soon and entirely as possible.
Privacy
Stylescout respects your privacy. All personal data disclosed to Stylescout will only be used for completing the order and will never be made available to third parties. Stylescout does not receive or store any credit card information on its computers and websites.
Property Rights
Stylescout and all content and compilation of such content included on Stylescout.nl, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images and software is the property of Stylescout or its content suppliers. It is not permitted to make public, copy or store parts of the contents of Stylescout.nl without Stylescout’s express written consent. Such consent is not required for personal non-commercial use.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
Any dispute relating to a purchase and sale agreement to which these General Terms and Conditions apply shall exclusively be brought before the District Court of Amsterdam. On all rights, obligations, offers, orders and agreements to which these conditions apply only Dutch law applies. Latest update 18-12-2012
